Ringwood Baseball Coaches Page Pitching Regulations

Starting with the Minor League, all pitchers are limited to pitching an age appropriate pitch limit per day, with required days of rest after pitching.  The guideline is based on a players age, and is listed below

Maximum Pitches Per Day:     75
(for players age 10 and under)

Maximum Pitches Per Day:     85
(for players age 11 and 12)

Maximum Pitches Per Day:     95
(for players age 13 through 16)

Maximum Pitches Per Day:    105
(for players age 17 and 18)

Rest Day Requirements:

66 or more pitches, 4 days rest required.

51-65 pitches, 3 days rest required.

36-50 pitches, 2 days rest required.

21-35 pitches, 1 day rest required

1-20 pitches, no rest day required.

Coaching Requirements for 2014 Coaches

Volunteer Application

All coaches are required to complete the annual Little League Volunteer Application.  This years volunteer application form can be found here.

Concussion Awareness Course (Online Course)

Beginning this year, all coaches are now required to complete  a concussion awareness course. This is offered free of charge through the CDC website.  The link below will take you to the start of the course.  When completed, you can print a certificate or save it electronically and email it.

We suggest that you save this electronically and keep a copy for your records.  

All coaches will also have to complete this course which takes about 40 minutes.

The CDC Concussion Awareness video is below as a refresher.  In order to receive a certificate for the course you must go through the CDC site listed above.

AED Available at Snack Stand

The Ringwood Recreation Commission has recently purchased a defibrillator which has been installed in the snack stand at Borough Field.

The Ringwood Recreation Commission requests that coaches and concession stand personnel become familiar with the proper use of the defibrillators.

The company which provided the equipment is Lifesavers, Inc. They have a ten (10) minute video you can access by following the instructions below. The video is available in the left column o f this page.
