Ringwood Baseball Safety Program

Ringwood Little League Baseball is committed to player, coach and spectator safety. Each year we update our Safety Manual, which is reviewed by and approved by Little League International prior to the start of the spring baseball season.

All of our managers, coaches and umpires are required to complete the coaches training course which is run by Ringwood Recreation two or three times each year.

Safety Information and Forms Injuries and First Aid Treatment

First aid kits and ice packs are supplied in the supply box at each field. Additionally there is a first aid kit, and a case of ice packs at the Borough Fields snack stand.  To replenish the supplies at the field boxes, the manager of the team should contact Ray Dwyer for additional first aid supplies.

In the event of an emergency at the fields, the manager shall contact the Ringwood Police by dialing 9-1-1.  Any injury at the fields that require first aid treatment needs to be reported to the Ringwood Baseball Safety Director, Ray Dwyer.  An incident report will be completed and kept on file. Ray can be reached at raydwyer@optonline.net

Should an injury occur, coaches are also asked to complete an Injury Incident Report found here
